Since University where he studied Industrial Engineering and Organisational Change, Bas has been fascinated by the maritime industry.  As a Senior Consultant at Navis, Bas was responsible for N4 implementations and migrations in the European region, including both semi-automated and fully automated sites. Through first hand experience, Bas has gained insights on best-practices and pitfalls when working with automation. In 2021, Bas  transitioned to the role of Account Manager for terminals in North and West-Europe, where he helps Navis customers gain access to the latest N4 products and services. In his free time, Bas is a fanatic runner who will not miss an opportunity for a quick run around the park!
