Mr. Bart Vermeer has over 20 years of experience in project management and business consulting in the marine terminal industry. Prior to joining Moffatt & Nichol, Bart was operations project manager at APM Terminals, serving on its Maasvlakte II container terminal development project. Prior to APM, Bart held various positions during his seven-year tenure at European Container Terminals (ECT) Rotterdam, including a five-year period as manager of terminal commissioning on ECT’s Euromax terminal development project. His expertise is in the area of specifications and performance of ship-to-shore cranes, automated stacking cranes, rail-mounted gantry cranes, automated guided vehicles, automated rail-mounted gantry cranes, as well as operational analysis, terminal optimisation and equipment implementation.
